What is The WiRE?
The WiRE is FamWise's curated content feed - a family-safe stream of videos, articles, and updates selected for quality and appropriateness. Think of it as your home feed, free from the noise and negativity of mainstream social media.
What is The LINE?
The LINE is your private, secure family timeline. Only the people you invite can post, share, and communicate here. No strangers, no algorithms - just the people that matter.
How do Organizations and Seats work?
An Organization purchases a block of Seats through a single subscription. Each Seat grants a member full premium access. The admin controls who holds each seat and can reassign them at any time.
What happens when an Organization seat expires?
When an Organization subscription lapses, member accounts automatically transition to free Ad-supported access. All personal content, saved items, and profile data remain fully intact.
What is the difference between Ad-supported and Premium?
Free accounts include carefully vetted, family-friendly advertisements. Premium accounts are ad-free and unlock The LINE, advanced library controls, and priority support.
How does FamWise keep content safe for families?
Every piece of content passes through our multi-layer WiRE safety framework - automated filtering plus human moderation. Explicit, divisive, or politically charged content is never allowed.
Can I control what my child sees or who they talk to?
Yes. Parent accounts have granular controls over content categories, can restrict LINE access entirely, and must approve any new connections before messages are exchanged.
Is my family's data sold to third parties?
Never. FamWise does not sell or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers. The Ad-supported tier uses contextual advertising only - ads matched to content, not to you personally.
How do I upgrade or cancel my subscription?
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from Account Settings under Billing. Changes take effect at the next billing cycle and your access continues until the period ends.
